The Mat Factory…a new, up and coming club dedicated to the development of young, aspiring wrestlers to prepare them to compete at an elite level. The Mat Factory boasts its own Wrestling facility, with 90’ of wrestling mat space and equipped with cross-training equipment to provide a well-rounded approach to assisting wrestlers to achieve lofty goals. The development strategy is geared towards a heavy focus on technique and perfecting fundamental wrestling skills. The club will also incorporate cross-training techniques to provide all members with a skill set to get them to the next level. Combined with a Coaching staff that helped build the Burrell Wrestling program into a perennial powerhouse at the State level, this club becomes a must for wrestlers aspiring for greatness in the hotbed of Pennsylvania Wrestling.

 

Notable club members include PIAA Champion and 2x PIAA Placewinner Jason Nolf (Kittanning), 3x PIAA Placewinner Dakota DesLauriers (Burrell), as well as PIAA AAA Placewinner Tyler Smith (Franklin Regional). Additionally, The Mat Factory lays claim to training a number of Collegiate wrestlers with All-American and National Champion credentials. The results speak for themselves…
